I PLACES TO VISIT
Corbett Museum
Corbett Museum which was the home of Famous hunter turned conservationist Jim Corbett is located in Kaladungi, Chhoti Haldwani, Uttarakhand. In this museum, you can see some personal effects of Jim Corbett like his gun, cap, fishnet, painting, sketches and some articles written by him.
Sitabani Forest Range
Sitabani Forest is a buffer zone which is quite popular among tourists for Bird watching especially Vultures. This is one of the best local places to visit in Jim Corbett. This forest provides Jungle Safari through out the year and hence this forest is not inside the Corbett National Park zone so you can get a permit directly from the main entry gate of Sitabani Forest.
Girjia Temple
Garjiya Devi Temple is a Devi Temple located in Garjiya Village near Corbett National Park and Museum. While visiting Dhikala Zone you can see this temple on a big rock in the Kosi River. This temple is very popular among Devotees and visited by people, especially on Kartik Purnima.
